“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Academic Counseling

As Stone Ridge Christian’s College and Guidance Counselors, we are privileged to serve our students throughout their MIddle School and High school career. Students are counseled in three main areas:

College and Career Planning
The college counseling program at SRC is an important and individualized process that begins in grade 9 and continues through the end of the senior year. It’s our goal to assist students in exploring their post-high school opportunities.  All of SRC’s core academic classes are recognized on the University of California’s “a-g” list as college prep classes.  So the options are many.

We partner with students, parents, and teachers to prayerfully identify the needs, interests, aptitudes, and goals of each student and to provide academic and college/career planning throughout all four years of high school. This preparation is thoughtfully designed to reduce the stress and anxiety surrounding college by ensuring that families have the necessary tools, information, and support to successfully navigate the college search and application process.

One unique offering at Stone Ridge Christian is College Prep.  One day a week students explore their future through SAT prep, college and career exploration, college and scholarship applications.  The class of 2015 earned over $900,000 in college scholarships!

Academic Counseling
Each year we assist students in choosing courses and monitor academic progress and extracurricular involvement.

Personal Counseling
As personal counselors we meet with individual students and groups in a confidential setting to discuss any emotional, spiritual, social, or academic concerns. We act as a resource to parents and teachers for consultation. Lastly,  classes are visited to interactively discuss a variety of topics, such as alcohol and drug abuse, stress and anxiety, interpersonal skills, and decision making skills.

The following is a list of universities and colleges to which Stone Ridge Christian graduates have been accepted, enrolled, or graduated.
