About Us

Why SRC?

Stone Ridge Christian educates the whole child – mind, body and soul. Students have the opportunity to explore a variety of disciplines that lead them to achieve their God-given potential. All activities are done through the lens of faith, bringing faith to life in real and meaningful ways. We encourage students to pursue their educational passions while growing stronger in their Christian faith. Inside the classroom, students work to deepen their understanding of subjects—and themselves. Outside the classroom, students immerse themselves in competitive athletics, enriching fine arts, other student activities, and camaraderie. They develop deep friendships with students, explore new concepts, and push past their limits.

CENTRAL THEMES of SRC:

  • Spiritual growth
  • High academic achievement
  • Strong work ethic
  • Deep sense of integrity
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Heart for service
We’re called to help students build character and life skills, not just a resume. But don’t take our word for it:

“My friend saw a bunch of football players (at a local fast food place) and recognized my grandson. She was so impressed that they took the time to pray over their food! Stone Ridge is building character that shows even when no one is looking!”
– GRANDPARENT

My child loves it:

“Why do I like this school? My daughter joined Stone Ridge Christian in the middle of the year. In the beginning she was unhappy, but now she loves it! And I have peace and the confidence that she is in a very friendly, positive, and nurturing environment. She is surrounded by Christian people and studying the Bible every day, getting affirmed in her faith, and impact her life forever. Thank you for the awesome job you are doing!”
– PARENT

Surrounded by Christian people:

She is surrounded by Christian people and studying the Bible every day, getting affirmed in her faith, and impact her life forever. Thank you for the awesome job you are doing!”
– PARENT

They are family:

“They love and even tough love our kids. They are family.”
– PARENT

Geniune loving kindness:

On our way home that night, my 16 year old told me a story about a [SRC] boy at the game that was just so good with a younger boy at the game. She just went on and on about how amazed she was at how kind he was. So…just wanted to share with you how impressed we were by such genuine loving kindness.”
-PARENT FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL

Christ-like attitude:

“I work with a couple of gentleman who. . . came to my office to tell me how impressed they were with Stone Ridge players, staff, fans and parents. They stated that all too often they are witnesses to Christian schools and families who don’t seem to have a Christ-like attitude, however at this game Stone Ridge players, family, staff, and fans were representing their beliefs perfectly. They wanted me to pass this on to the all who are a part of such an amazing school.”
-2004 ALUMNI PARENT WROTE IN 2014

Henjum two students website

Welcome

Welcome to Stone Ridge Christian School. We look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and encourage you to visit our campus to become acquainted with our talented students and dedicated faculty and staff.

The Stone Ridge Christian community is committed to being God-Centered and Student-Focused in all that we do.  Our school theme this year is “Difference Maker” based on Ephesians 2:10 where Paul writes “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Our faculty and staff believe that God uniquely creates everyone in the image of His son Jesus.  We have the privilege of inspiring and motivating each student to impact their world for His Kingdom.

We are committed to providing opportunities for our students to pursue excellence in Academics, Arts, Athletics, and Attitude. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments which include winning CIF and State Championships, earning National Merit Scholar status, gaining acceptance to top colleges across the country, and serving others in their community and across the world. We are in the process of developing our 53-acre property, with construction on our Event Center set to begin this fall. This building is the second phase of our vision to create a state of the art campus which currently houses our Middle and High School Education building and will eventually include our Elementary Education Building, athletic fields, and FFA facility.

For more information and to schedule a tour,  please contact us, we would love to show you how Stone Ridge Christian is the right fit for your student.

What We Believe

Mission

Together with parents and the church, Stone Ridge Christian Schools exists to educate students in developing their unique God-given potential.

Vision

Students will be equipped academically, spiritually, physically and socially to impact their community and the world for God.

Core Values

  • Christian – all activities are experienced through the lens of Christian faith; guide students to understand that God is at the center of every pursuit of knowledge.
  • Excellent – pursue excellence in all areas.
  • Community – become a community and be involved in our community.
  • Generational – a lasting school that has generations of students and supporters.

Statement of Faith

The basis of Stone Ridge Christian High School is the Word of God as interpreted by the following statement of faith.  We believe….

  1. God the Father – That God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1,2; Matthew 28:19; John 1:3)
  2. God the Son – That Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  He is co-equal with the Father and possesses all the attributes of deity.  (Matthew 1:22,23; John 1:1; John 10:30-33)
  3. God the Holy Spirit – That the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and is a divine person possessing all of the attributes of God. (John 14:16,17; Acts 5:3,4)
  4. The Bible – That the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20, 21)
  5. Man – That man was made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character.  Man’s sin has separated him from God. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23)
  6. Salvation – That salvation is God’s free gift to us but we must accept it by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. (Ephesians 2:8,9; John 14:1-6)
  7. Eternal Destiny – That man was created to exist forever. We either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. (Revelation 20:15; John 14 1-6)
  8. Marriage – The family is ordained by God, and the religious covenant of marriage between one man and one woman as created by God, provides the foundation and definition for the family.
